Teresita "Tess" Beach Obituary

Teresita Benditahan Beach, 72, of Inman, SC died February 20, 2026 after a courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia. She was the daughter of the late Florentino San Pedro and Aguida Benditahan. She grew up in the Philippines and taught school there and in Nigeria. She later moved to the U.S. where she taught Kindergarten for many years at Inman Elementary, where she was awarded Teacher of the Year and achieved 9 straight years of perfect attendance.

She is survived by a husband, Marvin W. Beach, and a son, Marvin Lee Beach, of Inman. She was the sister of the late Ely San Pedro and Lita Satin. She is survived by siblings Nilda Teng, Amado San Pedro, Belle Dalangin, and Vicente San Pedro. 

Tess was known for her generosity toward others and for her love of cooking delicious egg rolls and fried rice.

Funeral services followed by a burial will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Jacksons Grove United Methodist Church at 2842 North Pacolet Rd in Landrum, SC conducted by Rev. Mike Bowers. 

Family will receive friends in the church after the burial.

Memorials may be made to Jacksons Grove United Methodist Church.
